Well Matt. I'm 5 or so hours south of you. Got hit with a blizzard last week (after there was a day or two of 20*C+ weather the week before). The leave on our trees are all funny colours. If there's any at all.

When my parents were first living in socal when they moved from Canada, and I was just a baby, there was a pretty good snowfall once somewhere in the area we were in (I think we were up in norcal on a little vacation IIRC)... People were just pulled over refusing to drive etc. Schools were closed...

My father was still doing 60mph on the highway with no trouble at all. haha

We'll still drive with our summer tires on until there's 10'' of snow. We close down when we get 4 feet of snow in a single snow fall. we always have snowbanks on our sidewalks that are about 8 feet tall. Our snow piles from snowblowers/plows are anywhere from 30 feet to 80 feet.

That's a normal season for the city I live in.

Winter here usually startes in October, but the snow never sticks around until mid November. Our winter ends around mid April. However, we do, on occaision, get blizzards up until the May 24 weekend. Yeah try almost having snow in July.

My car is in storage approx 6-7months of the year. 8 months if it was a bad snow season. lol
