ka cone filter help

if i want to install a cone filter onto my 95 ka24, what do i do with that plug that is plugged into the original factory airbox?

i think its the temp. sensor?

a) leave it hang
b) keep the sensor attached and let it hang
c) put a resistor in the plug and let it hang (BAD IDEA)
