I love the pod on top of the instrument panel. Where did you get it from? I am sick of the A-piller mount that I have. Also nicely done on the instrument panel itself. Now to learn the conversion from KM/hr->Mi/hr:D
I have an account with Border Racing Japan and I got it directly from them. It's an expensive piece, but not a lot of people have it.
As for conversions:
62mph = 100kph
so 240 kph = 148.8mph
:)

HaLo,
That cluser intall is beautiful. Do you think you could hook one up for me? :D
EDIT: On second thought... I have a HUD. Wouldn't it get in the way? Can I get one to mount on the other side, perhaps?

Looks really good man....50K on the dot...hehe
The Gauge cluster covers the whole dash, as seen in this picture:

So basically, it won't fit a HUD Car without modifications.
And for the odometer, I backed it up to 50 000 km on the dot in order to know 1 thing: when I started to run the car with the SR20deT. :)

I thought the Border guage pod had the guages located on the other side... I like the whole thing though. Whenever I get my 240(hopefully in 2 months) I was planning on getting that. But I could have sworn that the guages were on the other side...

the Border Gauge Pod is designed for a RHD S13. However, with a little trimming, a lot of urethane and patience, you can get it to fit nicely on a LHD vehicule, hence, the appearance of the gauges on the "wrong" side. ;)

So.....you did it yourself??? How bout doin one for me when I get my 240?:D
I did the install myself but I didn't manufacture the panel. I simply trimmed it a little (on left side) in order to fit it. It's not a perfect fit, but urethane (windshield glue-thing. ;) ) and clamps for 24h forced it on. :)

You didn't happen to take any pictures of you doin this did you? If you didn't could you do a little write-up for me and pm it to me or something? Thanks.

Well, it's pretty straight forward. ;)
1. Trim a bit on the side of the gauge side so you can "fit" it.
2. Clean dash with a degreaser.
3. Apply some urethane a bit all over the panel.
4. Affix the panel.
5. Clamp it using whatever you can. (in my case, 1 vise-grip(sp?), something similar to another vise-grip and a box pressed against the front and the windshield.

That is awesome.. The cluster is certainly very unique. Am I right in assuming that it won't get in the way of the HUD on a RHD vehicle?

Actually, i'm pretty sure it's going to be in the way of RHD and LHD HUD equipped S13 cars.

That's where it "ain't" fun. The item isn't excessively expensive by itself, but shipping from JAPAN is a lot. You have to wait 2-3 weeks for me to get it, and the cost could be around 220$US before shipping to you.
