Well as the time draws closer to the purchase of my 240, im trying to buy a shop manual (i know hondas, like a Helms. big thick ass book that covers EVERYTHING about the car)
well helms dosent sell nissan stuff
so whats an equivilant? (chiltons and haynes are NOT good manuals)

Well you can get a factory service manual on eBay, they are a little pricey though... I paid about $75 shipped for mine, haven't received it yet.
I have the Chilton's manual, but you know it's gonna suck when they try to put 240SX and Altima in the same book heh. (besides that it appears to be just for S14, although it says 1993-98. ghey)

Sometimes you can find a deal on eBay if someone's selling a used manual. I got my '86 200SX manual for $29. But, figure at least $50 for a 240SX manual.
I agree that the Chilton manual is total garbage.

well ill pay 75$ if it covers everything
i have 2 helms for my civic and they were 65$ a piece. best manuals ever.
the nissan shop manuals cover everything then?

Not really, they don't cover the basics. That's because they are a technician manual.
