That makes 4 and a half out of 5 dumb threads for this guy. It's a half because it's a classified ad, but it's also for a Honda.

Everyone has to start somewhere, people telling him he's in over his head (no matter how true that might be) isn't helping answer this guys question at all. It's going to be a lot of custom fab work. Cross member, mounts, drive shaft, rear end, firewall perhaps, etc. lots of work, but anything is possible. Just keep researching and figuring out exactly what it would take to do it.

I have done many sr swaps into the corolla and that is more than enough for that chassis. You could even do a f20 if you want, that's a pretty intense ride as well. If you want I will put an sr or f20 into your ride. pm me if you are down.

sr would be your best bet. Cheaper, good aftermarket, its been done before, less fab work, etc.
And 200hp in a car that weighs in at 1 ton... Thats plenty to get yourself killed. GL.

hey man anything can be done. even though this is a nissan forum, plenty of our members have other rides that are not nissan.
you would probably need to consult a race shop who can fabricate.
2jz, rb26, sr20, f20, 20b everything and anything has been put into every car nowadays.
if you can fab then you can save shitloads of money. if you cant then off to the shops you go.
if you ever decide to do this, please take some pictures and post them up, i would love to see it done step by step.
dont let anyone tell you that you cant do it. they just haters! =P
i think you should go with a 20b! its freakin fast.
