anyone have suggestions for places to fix wheels? I have a rim that's really bent up (it was in a car accident on another car) that I would like to fix. It's a BBS so it would be worth it.

Just go to RBmotoring , they fix a set of TE37 for me before!!!
they also do multipiece. Welcome to RBMotoring. Your home for JDM wheels, Nissan Skylines, JDM Parts and more! (http://WWW.RBMOTORING.COM)

Wheels Technique in Santa Clara.

This is the place to go.

But depending on how bent the rim is, it might be unrepairable.

I take my shit to wheel techniques, just have in mind what you want to have done and they'll have it done in a timely matter, I've had numerous wheels repaired here, I'll tell my friend to hit you up.

I don't know where you're reading the bad reviews, because Wheel Techniques is legit.

They aren't a shop for little kiddies and their jdm wheels.

The cater to high end client el.

I've seen their work first hand many times and am amazed at what they do, every time.

I've seen them fix things that I thought were impossible to fix. Not to mention somehow possess the ability to make a wheel you give them better than oem.

Shits legit.

Yelp reviews are just that. They're reviews from people that were unhappy with the service.

There are tons of people that don't even know what yelp is.

Like ZAR said.

I have never had a problem with any of their service.

I find a lot of the people on Yelp have a chip on their shoulder and tend to complain about everything, I wouldn't consider that review site a reputable review site especially when they've been open for so long.

It's a BBS so it would be worth it.

BBS does make a nice wheel or two but a wheel simply being bbs does not make it worth it.

Don't you non socal people have local places that will fix and repair wheels? I can think of 4 places local from me that do it that do pretty good jobs. I wasn't aware that places like these were hard to come by or u are maybe not looking hard enough. I don't think rb wants to deal w/ non local customers.

read on.......

Almost NOBODY will take the time out of their lives to say something positive online. Only people who complain online are nobodies who obviously have problems. I mean, only 5 people reviewed that place. I'm not going by what 5 could be retards say. I know multiple times that amount of people who have had five star service.

I didn't read all the reviews, but the first dude was upset that he had to wait 20mins? Cry me a fucking river. He's expecting instant gratification.

The second angry reply was a dude who had a tire that was bald. They told him not to put it on. Mind you they aren't even in the business of selling tires. They simply cared about their customers well being. His anger was because the chrome chipped or something. They blamed it on the tire.
Why isn't he fucking complaining to the TIRE SHOP that put the tire on. I've seen many a shop destroy a tire/rim because they didn't take the care required.

Third dude complaining about unstable prices. Each price is a case by case basis. Some rims need a lot of work, others not so much. You're paying for the workers time, not buying a bag of chips.

Fourth dude expected his rims had a clear coat and he had to pay for them to recoat it? wtf? hahaha. I mean seriously, who expects to have multiple coats of paint, and repair of a damaged rim for only $125.

I'm too lazy to read more, because I have some errands to run.

But if you want, I'LL go over there for you and talk to them and make sure your rims are taken care of.

That's how sure I am of their work.

I have stories of the other works posted of in this thread, but it doesn't mean I will discredit them until I feel it's right.

What !Zar! says is true. I heard somewhere that typically, a person who recieves bad service from anywhere may tell 5-10 people about the bad service they recieved. But if that same person recieves good service somewhere else, he may only tell one person about it if he even decides to say anything. People have very high standards.

Wheel techniques does good work. I wish I took pics of the wheel they fixed for me. The lip looked like a beer cap when I brought it in.
http://www.damienspub.com/images/beercap.jpg

Came out all shiny and fresh!!!

My friend works at a shop that contracts bent/damaged wheels to Quicksilver (spelling?) in SF. Don't know how good the work is but it may be another lead in the bay.

Now thats something that is VERY reassuring, because i dont live in cali (i'm in tx) the fact that i'd have to ship them and then hope they fix and ship them back in a true and timely manor was difficult for me to swallow.

What kind of guarantee do i have that they will ship them back at all? i mean i'm just sending them wheels, theres no business transaction or recourse if they dont send them back? just a question

If you really need us to, Zar and I can personally take delivery of your wheels, and ship them out when they're done.
