1 wire on knock sensor????sr20

Like the title says I'm a little worried b/c there is only one wire coming off my knock sensor but there are two at the plug is that right? fyi the missing wire at the onther end is capped off with one of those oem rubber plugs so it looks like its ment to be but i just want to bee sure

so nobody can look at a sr knock sensor for me.....is it b/c I got on nico club last week.damn:keke:

the second wire is a shield that must be left unconnected at the sensor end and grounded at the ecu end.
