I bought this brand new and never used it. I just took it out of the box to take the pictures. I was going to use it to make a carputer but changed my mind since my car will be a track only car soon. Comes with AC and DC adapters, remote, stallice, AV cables, and mount. You can hook up the video by the standard av cable or use the VGA cable end, the cord has both. $150 shipped.

is it just me or does the actual product look totally different than the picture on the box

It does. Thats how it came. The model number on the box matches the item inside. The company must use the same format for every box for every model.
