I'm sure i'm not the only one that has ran into this problem. I searched the forum for a thread and didn't see one. Do I need a new cluster or is there a way to fix this?? Speedo works unless I hit a bump and to get it back on I have to smack the dash or push the trip set button. The tach usually stays around 1k or so and just bounces everywhere. Does it need a calibration or something?? Any info will help thanks. Also if it's just the cluster I have another one so maybe that will fix it. It's a non SE one though :-/

check the speed sensor? that might be faulty.

I don't think it is cause if the speedo goes out on a bump or something if I smack the dash it comes right back on. I'll look at it but I don't think that's it. Also because the tach is broke also. I could have used the speedo when I did 60+MPH past a cop. I got let off with a warning though haha.

well if its a faulty cluster, the only way would be to test the circuit. save yourself time and buy another one if you can. they go for around 40 bucks(average). time is money!

I have one in my trunk right now haha. I'll swap them out and see what happens. i would rather have a SE white faced guage though.
