Whats up guys I am bringing in a tuner from Texas January 17-19 2009 his name is Steve Kan. We usually always set up just for the Rx-7 groups but he has asked me to try and get an interest in other groups as well... He owns Gotham Racing out of Texas and is high regaurded in the RX7 community he is liscenced to tune the following... Hydra, Accessport, Power FC, Haltech, Microtech, MoTeC, Autronic, AEM... If you have any questions please feel free to ask and I will get back to you... If you would like to check him out or ask him anything personally you can check out his website kantuning.com his user name is Pluto. Here is his price structure.

$300 - Piggy back (SAFC, Emanage)
$350 - Normally Aspirated/Stock turbo up to 12psi of boost (pump gas only) 1 map
$400 - Aftermarket turbo up to 20psi of boost (pump gas only) 1 map
$450 - Aftermarket turbo from 16psi - 25psi of boost (race gas and/or auxiliary injection only) 1 map
$600 - aftermarket turbo up to 25psi of boost (pump gas and race gas tune) 2 maps

Ill check back periodically to answer and questions you might have... You can also reach me at [email protected]

$350 - Normally Aspirated/Stock turbo up to 12psi of boost (pump gas (http://zilvia.net/f/south-western-states/220964-tuner-bay-area-1-17-1-19-2009-a.html#) only) 1 map
Im pretty sure you would be in this bracket... As far as rx7 I know he has tuned well over 500 he owns a shop in Texas and they do all cars out there... I have seen him tune 2 240 in the bay area one of the guys names is Ivan I believe he is known aroudn the bay area. As far as how aggresive you wnat him to go thats is completely up to you... The thing I like aobut Steve is he tuned even similiar set up differently depending on what you are looking for. If you tell him to push it he will push it if you tell him its your daily he will be conservative...

He went and took tuning classes on each one and upon the completion they give you a certificate and a registered tunning version of the software that is used for each ECU... I lot of shops have copies of the liscenced version. Not saying there arent people who can tune stuff without being liscenced but say for instance you had AEM... And you called AEM and asked for a liscenced tuner in your area they would have a list of people who have taken there coarse and are certified to program there ECU's... Just like a certified mechanic and the garage mechanic the garage mechanic might be able to do the job but the certified guy knows all the ins and outs..

My friend had his fc tuned by him. Car ran good but was a little rich. He is a legit rotary tuner but I have no idea how often he has worked on nissan cars.
