idle drops when car goes into neutral then goes up and drops again then goes to normal could it just be a vacuum line?

What BOV setup are you using? Is it Vented or Recirculated?

adjust your Idle Air Control valve so the valve is slightly more closed at idle.

sounds like overcorrection for too much idle, due to too much air coming into the engine past the TB

So that would lower the idle?

is this the only time that the idle is abnormal? what do you mean by neutral? when you depress the clutch or when you take the car out of gear? there is a neutral swtich on tranny that tells computer when car is in neutral.

Mine does the exact same thing.
I'm guessing mine is due to the HKS BOV not being recirculated?
Could be your BOV as well. :(

i've unhooked vacuum lines ie the aiv and it only raised idle 100 rpm and was stable.

My car will do this as well, it'll dip down to about 500 rpms then shoot up a little and eventually level itself out at 850. I think its due to my lightweight flywheel though.. (fidanza)
