On an SR20DET, which plugs are better if I'm running stock boost 7psi and looking to get the best gas mileage out of my SR?

I run the 7s on my car and it runs fine. id say go with the bkr7e. I got a box of 20 from napa for like 20 bucks.

On stock boost? No need to go with the 7s. 6s will be just fine.

Now if you're running more boost on a bigger turbo, then you'll need a colder spark plug such as the 7s.

At least that's always what I thought.

Everyone seems to running 7s, but I'm at stock boost so I think 6s would produce a hotter cleaner combustion, therefore better gas mileage.

With 7s at stock boost, wouldn't this produce a colder and less efficient combustion or would they be as efficient as 6s?

I'm not looking for power, just a reliable DD that doesn't suck up gas.

i always ran the 7's, even when i was stock and dd'ing the s14, averaged 28-29mpg with the 7's at .028

Yes i would suggest BKR6 as they would be better for stock boost... rule of thumb we use is for every 75hp over stock we go one colder..

I think you mean Box of 10 as NGK doesnt sell boxes of 20.. :)

I also Sell the Coppers For $2 a peice and i sell the Iridiums for $6.50ea

So if interested i know thats cheaper than everyone else.. :)

Shipping and tax is of course extra but not rediculous.. :)

Since i should be around the 300hp+ (hopefully), are you saying i should go with bkr8 with a .028 gap? I figured bkr7 would be good.

Stock plugs will work good for over 75hp-100hp .. then after 75hp-100hp more than stock.. go one colder.. and so on.. :)

Stock boost is 10psi.

7psi is just running off of the wastegate.
