I think everyone wants to do one. If the few issues with the swap could just get worked out this thing would be gone.

What model VQ is it? The DE or the rev-up? There is a difference. The model and year of the car it came out of would help with that question. Decent price, but with the economy being so fucked up right now it is not going to be an easy sale.

its not a "rev up", only 07 and up motors came with the VQ35HR(high revving) motor, anything below came with the VQ35DE.

Ah correction, Any anniversary edition 350z with 6 speed is a rev up that is 2005 as well as all 2005-2006 G35's and 2006 350z's being rev ups.

The 2007+ VQ35HR is not a Rev Up engine. Its a HR and its 80% different than previous VQ's.

The OP's engine is a DE and not a rev up so it does not have the oil consumption issue that manual trans rev up engines had. Oh and the oil consumption issue is only with rev ups.

oh and on the RPM side

VQ35DE 6500 RPM redline
VQ35DE rev up 7000 RPM redline
VQ35HR 7500 RPM Redline
