Hi all.
I encoutered some missfire at 18PSI boost.
Was using NGK BKR7E-IX 0.9mm Gap, at the time , with SPLITFIRE DIS2 Coils ingnition.
They turned out very clean and WHITE on the porcelan, so i figured they are too hot.

AFR's are 11.3-11.8 and EGT was about 1540F.

I tryed NGK BKR8E-IX 0.9mm GAP - but still , the same.

I then closed the Gap a bit, to about 0.71mm and it seems it cured the problem.

I was wondering, what Gap are you guys using for 18PSI and up, boost, and what Heat Range ?

Thanks,
Dany.

Same gap we run on 76mm at 20 psi. We use NGK 3330's, they foul out on us pretty fast but are only $18 for 6 of them on our Supras and have been the best plug we have used. I ran them on my SR and were badass plugs but again they foul out quick and I replaced them every oil change.

I am using a GT3071R-WG...

I gues 0.028 is the magic number.
A bit dissapointed though - hoped i could stick with 0.035 with the splitfire Dis2...
