Music stuck in my head...need more of it....

So over the weekend I was introduced to a genre of music called "Electronic Jazz" or "Jazz Fusion". The music group I was listening to is called Koop and there are two songs by them that are stuck in my head.

I've been scouring for an album with some luck, but now I want to know if any of you know of other music groups that play similar music.

Sound like you'd like a lot of the trip-hop/acid jazz/bossa nova stuff that came out over the last decade.

I'm not too well versed on the scene, but the samples you provided sound a lot like electronically arranged bossa nova stuff. I just don't know if that's a particular sub genre or just an outtake of two similar tracks coming from an eclectic and diverse genre.

Try checking DJ Cam, Nightmares on Wax, Fila Brazilia, Aya, Jamiroquai, Dj Shadow.

Not all of this is trip-hop/nujazz/whatever. A lot of it is chill out music and turntabilist stuff, which often samples jazz sections and what not. Maybe you'll like it.

you can find more of those kind music under lounge music genre, i had plenty of those. occassionly you will find them under "soulful house" or "beach house" at albums or internet radio. sometimes you would find them at chill out (tend be very slow beat....lounge is more upbeat)
