since you're a newbie i'll try to tell you this softly... before someone flames you... there is a SEARCH fuction located on the top right corner and this is for frequently asked questions like yours... when i made this post there was a thread just like yours right above you "97-98 coversion"... you'll find alot of info on your question through the search ... but to answer you in general if you are doing it yourself it time consuming, not to easy, and expensive.

Well I'm not going to flame on you...but I did the 97/98 conversion on my car and it cost me around $1500 for parts (all OEM). You should really do I search, there's even another thread on the same page about this.

Well, on the issue of searching.... on a common question (like mine), searching would be best since it is so common (BTW, I found everything I wanted in the FAQ).... but for not so common questions, I feel that they should be asked so other people can learn from the question..... :)
