YOu have to re-tune the EMS/ECU to match the new air flow

no it really is because it is slower. bc cams suck the big one. yes i do have first hand expeirence and a dyno chart to show a loss in power when switching to these cams.

Did you re-tune the car on a dyno to match fuel/timing to compliment the change in lift and duration of the camshaft?
If not then of course you are going to lose power, this is EFI 101

Did you degree the cams to the specifications of the cam card that came with them? If no then of course you would lose power. Many people complain about BC cams but its usually because the installation procedures aren't followed. Try degreeing them first before you write them off as not making power

You don't need to get tuned for cams. You may not make the best peak-power without getting a retune but you will definitely feel gains anyway. The fact that you Lost an obvious amount of power is an indication that cam timing is off.
Apparently BC's are not all made properly. The following thread on nissansilvia does a pretty good job of explaining the issue. Fortunately it can be overcome, but at the added expense of buying adjustable cam sprockets which shouldn't have to be used in the first place.
Nissansilvia.com -> Brian crower stage 2's cam timing out of the box.. - Hardtuned.net (http://www.nissansilvia.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=328815)
this is the 8th set of bc stage 2's that i have used on builds so it must be common...
out of the box the cam timing if you leave it is usually around the 11-16deg retarded on the intake cam

the stage 2 are supposed to be "drop-in" ya right they are cheaply made and QC is terrible.

you can keep the cams if you get adjustable sprockets and learn how to time the intake cam 16° back out.
