I dont expect this to be a big thread, but how many of you have looked for rigistered sex offenders in your area.

I just looked and it is a bit un-nerving. I have a 3year old and the topic was brought up at work. I just thought it was worth mentioning to those of you who have young family members in your household.

this is probably the best site for finding out where they work, live, and others. Thank GOD none are by me though. It was crazy, at my old house there was a guy that showed like 3 convictions that were Rape by force by children under the age of 14 and he lived RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET FROM AN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL!

There is one not too far from my house.
I find it odd, though, that the maps exclude SEVERAL schools, like the fact that there are 4 (2 elementary, one middle and one high) schools within 1.5 miles of my house and NONE of them are on that map.
