car insurance/ home insurance

I had AAA and I was thinking about to switch to Allstate with my home insurance because my brother told me it is cheaper (he is in WA). So i drop out the AAA and found out they dont offer Allstate home insurance in california anymore. Now i tried to get back AAA but the idiot agent did not tell me that i should have prepare for the new photograph (such as trim down the tree, clean up the kitchen and bathroom, clean my backyard...etc). so my house appear to be dirty and they assuming it has crap load of problems and declined my insurance.

So now i am thinking about to switch over to other major companies, does anyone which insurance has better rate to AAA?
