I have heard that because my s13 was an automatic, that the BMC does not need to be replaced to run Front 30mm Z32 calipers. I have heard this from numerous people, but i went and installed and bled, but i am not convince that this is true.
Has anyone heard this?
Is it true, that an automatic s13 BMC moves enough fluid for the Z32 front calipers??
What is the suggested BMC for using only Front z32 calipers?
If you can be any fruit or vegetable what would you be and why?
and if you are running this s13 auto BMC with the z32 front calipers, how stiff is your petal?
Has anyone heard this? Yes
Is it true, that an automatic s13 BMC moves enough fluid for the Z32 front calipers?? It's a higher ratio, than ones found on manual cars..
What is the suggested BMC for using only Front z32 calipers? yours should be enough just for fronts. If you don't think it is... go to 17/16 aka 1 1/16
If you can be any fruit or vegetable what would you be and why? Fruit, Orange, they taste good?
and if you are running this s13 auto BMC with the z32 front calipers, how stiff is your petal? N/A

What's a petal? You messing with flowers in your car?
The auto MCs are 15/16" vs. 7/8" for manual cars.

The only S13 that come with the 15/16" BMC are the ones with anti-skid control (ABS), if you have that then you shoudl have teh 15/16". Its not an automatic vs manual for the 15/16", its ABS vs non-ABS.

Correct. I was thinking S14 for some reason. All S13 master cylinder are 7/8" except for ABS models.

Another way to know for sure if you cant read the size on the BMC, your brake booster will be the double diaphram type and will be smaller in diameter than a regular one, this is teh better brake booster of teh two.

Didn't want to start a new thread so i bumped this one
So would it be true then that All S14 BMCs are 15/16"
btw just out of curiosity what does that measurement even refer to?

No, only the auto and ABS ones are 15/16". The manuals are 7/8". The measure is the size of the bore in the cylinder that the piston slides into.
