Im building a KA-T for my s14, and hoping to be in the mid 11-sec times on street trim, but recent rl problems are forcing me to check out my opportunities to sell it and explore other options (in other words, i cant afford to finish it) Basically im toying with the idea of selling it, see what kind of response I get, and if i get thr right one, then the engine is sold.
The engine was originally out of a 95 240, with 40kmiles on it.
Currently it has JE Billet Aluminum 8.5:1 Pistons
Crower Rods
o-ringed head gasket
Spec Stage 3 Clutch
Stock Flywheel
PnP
Fully balanced rotating assembly
And quite a bit more, if you are interested in the engine, and want a full and detailed list, email me at rmerina@comcast.net
I have all the receipts to prove everything that has been done to the engine. Please, only SERIOUS inquiries!
Thanks

email me all the specs @ klcolson@iupui.edu. I am getting ready to build a ka, and if I like what you have done, and the price is right I may just choose to complete your engine.

The KA's a longblock? I've never heard it referred as that before.

A longblock is a term, meaning the head and the block together, shortblock is just the block without the head.
As far as price, email me and ill send you a full list of eberything thats done to the engine as it sits right now.
But generally, in the $4800+ range.

Deburr, shotpeen, micropolish crank
Deburr, and hone mainline
Oring block
Hone cylinders
Balance entire rotating assembly
JE Custom Pistons 8.5:1

The engine has been done 100% professionally and the machine shop stands behind their work, it has also been prefessionally assembled and blueprinted.
I will also be installing new timing tensioners and guides when I get around to assembling the head to the block.
If your interested, I am asking $5000 for the entire assembled longblock, which includes the intake manifold, also I can include the stock fuel rail and injectors for an additional fee. If you are interested, my email is rmerina@comcast.net I can also be reached on AIM at RickMer2

Well I think the price turned away some people, I said I am *asking* $5000 BUT I am taking offers :)

Not to put your engine down in anyway. I think most cats would rather buy a sr20det front clip for that price. You're probably asking for what you have already put into. The parts list sounds like you will have a strong fully built motor, but like I said for 5000 most would want an SR. Good luck
