Ok so Ive decided Im gonna try and tune my own car. I know of a few ppl who tried and with the proper tools and help from a few forums, they were able to successfully tune their own car.

Here's what Im working with PowerFC with Commander.

Now, I need to get a wideband/datalogger. I could get the FC Dataloggit, except it costs as much as a tune.

What else can I use to datalog?

Innovate has their LC-1 that comes with LogWorks software.

Zeitronics has their Zt-2 System

Well.

The power fc comes only able to barely tune the features of the ecu unless you take it to a power excell dealer or get fc loggit. That is why open ems systems like Haltech are so much better.

So. Take it to a tuner or buy fc loggit.

May I suggest Shadowerks (http://www.shadowerks.com)

I would sugest you take it to steve as well, he's a kick ass tuner, believe me if i had the money back when i had my DSM i would have had him tune it.

with all the time and money ou are going to spend on the datalogging software you can just pay steve and have a kick ass tune. and not worry about blowing up your engine
