-15-20 feet of 2 gauge or 0 gauge wire. Try to find one with lots of small strands as opposed to few big ones.
-2 battery terminals, try to colorcode them. At Advance you can buy negative terminals with a wire attached, they work well.
-battery box, or holddown, or both. Preferably both. If you just a box make sure you bolt it to the floor with some self tapping screws, at least 6
-Run the wire as far from the ECU as possible and somewhere where it wont get cut up so it doesnt short out. Run a breaker box or fuse no more than 12 inches from the positive terminal in case of a shortout.
-Do not cheapen out on supplies, you will catch on fire.

Get the wire from advanced auto if you have one by you its like 98 cents a foot for 2 gauge out here in st.louis. Also get a big fuse and a battery cutoff switch, I had a car almost burn to the ground when an unfused main positive wire shorted out and melted all the insulation off.

What happens if you run your 2 gauge wire through the Main harness hole? and next to the ECU. Will that cause trouble?

I have my battery relocated through there since the other side has stereo wiring.

it's honda tech "cry"

Honda-Tech.com: Audio / Security / Video: Power Wire and Fuses / Holders ("what size do I need?")-Big three upgrade pics and details (http://www.honda-tech.com/zerothread/1952098)

good info on here from a good buddy of mine.

yeah cause i had it for a few years far away from the ecu but decided to run it next to the ecu recently, whats the problem? electrical interference?

i ran my wire along my brake lines next to the frame rail. no issues with it.
just did a nice ziptie job along it. make sure its not hanging low or getting pinched. done deal

Run the wire as far from the ECU as possible .

you wanna expand on this? there's a few people wondering why this is a bad thing...

including myself. electrical interference..? white noise bullshit? i don't know shit about electricity, elaborate please.

The EMF from the huge ass battery wire might fuck with the signals going to the ECU.

There are so many threads on here about this subject alone NO need to make more. There is a search button located at the top of your home page to the right use it.
The search button does wonders =]
