Definitely good info. I don't know anyone personally who didn't know this already but there's a ton of people who have no clue about date stamping on tires. I've always told friends/family to check the date on new tires, but as the video shows a lot of buyers don't think it's an issue.

Even driving at the speed limit, tires can go out like that.

It happened to us a few years ago.

Dad was driving our Nissan Quest with "new" tires(installed just the week before), as we were merging on the freeway, the tire started shredding off.

As soon as he heard *thump thump thump thump* he pulled over.

Definitely good info.

Well that was interesting. That answer my question about the tire that came with my car when I bought and why it died so fast. They also answer some of my question why some of tires I've had lasted long then some other ones.
IMO I think it's PSI in the tires... I dunno.. I wanna find a discussion on this and more info about this.

On the other side they should sell the old tires cheap to us drifter so we can just burn them out for them. =P

Maybe I have to clarify?

If you're going the speed limit isn't there a better chance of not rolling the car when a blowout happens.

Sure theres old tires, but it doesn't look like anyone is going to make an attempt to get rid of all of them.

Not in an SUV. With the high center of gravity you're liable to pitch over at any speed. Even at low speeds, evasive maneuvers can cause rollover. You notice the warehouse was full of nothing but SUVs.

definitely. i had a 4wd blazer, and it felt a little better than my friends 2wd, but not by much. shit gets scary when you have to swerve or do anything drastic.
