Sorry if this is a noob quesiton but...

Under the previous owner of my s14, a thief broke into the car by shoving down on the glass so hard that he was able to get to the door lock.

Now, the part of the glass where he shoved (near B pillar) is low, leaving about an inch gap, and the opposite end of the glass (closer to the A pillar) sits higher up. Seems that the motor still works because the window moves just a little bit but then it gets jammed.

I took off the door panels on my current s14 and my old s14 and I couldn't really notice anything different between the two.

Somebody told me that it's possible I have a bent frame rail. Any suggestions? Is the frame rail the metal piece directly attached to and underneath the glass? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

The frame rail is under the car. You hope it's not bent.

The regulator can be tweaked from force, or one of the plastic pivots can pop out of track and let the window hang. The rear track can also be bent but if the window seems to move without binding at either end that's doubtful. inspect it again, something is different, whether it's bent or just broken.

The glass doesn't roll down. It stays up. It can barely move probably an inch max but then it gets jammed.

Take it all apart. You know something has to be bent, otherwise it would work. Although I like to think I know what I'm talking about, no one can help you with a little more, info, pictures, or effort in general on your part.
