Vans, started the day I turned 16.

I worked there for a year and a day, it was a cool job.

Just go in, it might be intimidating at first, after a couple months you'll be running that chuck e. cheese.

mine was at a local fast food joint, actually rated top 10 burger joints in seattle, The Ranch Drive-In. it sucked ass, always did. i walked off the job once, got hired back a year later, never came back to work. horrible job. crazy high turnover rate.
the first day on any job usually sucks. so just be patient and youll get it down whatever you do. its expected.

quit your whining man. Most people your age end up cleaning poo, and barf off of bathroom floors. dont think what you are doing is hard, just re adjust your life, since this is what it will be from now till you die.

Working full time just to pay bills.
thats what most people do.

keistyle
10-11-2008, 12:03 PM
LOL, im not doing this for bills. im doing it just to get money for my car and go out and stuff. I start school in january, but i want to work full time until then.
Im getting into notary as well.

What he is saying is eventually you will have to work full time just to pay the required bills of surviving, and he's right.

I guarantee you everybody who provides for themselves and possibly provides for others can tell you the exact moment it hit them that they realized working full time wasn't a decision but instead a necessity for living.

Working 40 hours a week just to cut even with little to no extra spending money..............fucking sucks.

That's life.

My first job when I was 17; I was working at a computer lab in Santa Monica College and after that, I used to stand at different Home Depot Centers while hoping/praying I get picked up and land a construction job, but I ended up getting picked up by a plumber who taught me everything about plumbing which is the job that got me my first e30 :)

All I have to say is don't get stuck there.

Find a career.

Don't get stuck working, "jobs" forever.
