95 or 96? Auto or manual? I have a few dash harnesses in storage. But if you're looking to 'add' the keyless alarm you'll need the subharness, underhood harness, and the alarm antenna cable, not to mention the rear window.

For your intermittant wipers to work properly the wiper control amplifier module under your hood most likely needs replaced...at least mine did for the same problem.

Good luck finding the alarm system. Do you know all the components involved with getting an OEM keyless entry system?

yea basically I know most of them.
control module
alarm horn
couple relays that go next to the fuse box in the engine bay.
SE's came wired for everything to. just got to plug it in. atleast thats what I've come to beleive when I got my fogs and security button installed. theres a harness plugged into it. but no alarm so it just sits there blank.

mines a 95 manual. do you have some harness's with alarm stuff? cuz I would love you. :D

Um, no. SE cars all came equipped with it in 1995, but it was an option on base models as well as 1996 SEs. The car is NOT prewired for any of it.

The main unit, called the SECU (smart entrance control unit) replaces the regular door lock unit under the dash beside the hood release. This unit also controls the domelight, key warning buzzer, and rear defogger timer. On models not equipped with power locks this unit doesn't even exist, there's two modules, one for domelight and one for defogger.
The plug for this module is different between keyless alarm equipped vehicles and non keyless, so you'll need the entire dash harness. Then the underhood harness has two relays in the main fusebox that do starter interrupt and headlight flash. There's also an extra horn on alarm equipped cars up by the clutch master cylinder, and a hood switch mounted by the battery.
Going back in the car there are two relays mounted behind the driver side rear quarter, both control the hazards light flashing when armed. You also have a tamper and cancel switch in both doors mounted to the key cylinder and a cancel switch in the trunk on the key cylinder as well as a trigger switch.
The rear glass has an antenna embedded in the grid at the base of the glass and a cable that runs back to the SECU. None of this is prewired in the car.

So to conclude you would need:

dash harness
underhood harness
subharness
tail harness
door harnesses
door handles/cylinders with tamper/cancel switches (they're different than regular handles)
trunk cylinder cancel switch
trunk cylinder trigger switch
horn
hood switch
SECU
dash mounted LED
antenna cable
rear glass

All of this would have to come from a 1995 SE only unless you found a base model that was equipped OE (rare) or a 1996 SE that was equipped with the 'leather and security package' which was one option that included the keyless alarm along with leather, ABS, and VLSD. Rear glass from any other car does not have the grid for the antenna and it doesn't work at all if you just run the cable and ground it, it has to be connected to the glass. Your other option is to buy aftermarket glass from a source like PPG, they sell the glass for all applications and include all three grids, FM antenna, defogger, and alarm antenna. You're still looking at about $550 for the glass alone.

Basically trying to add OE keyless/alarm is easier if you buy a car that already has it.

well an older gentle man down the road from me has the same year car as me and all the options cept a sunroof BUT has the OE alarm. i'm goin to the bank tomorrow to see if I can get a loan and buy it from him. steal the main harness out and then prolly sell the car back to the public. :D
