took a year but the built motor is finally coming together. heres a sound clip of first start sounds like any other sr with hks 264's (EDIT: actually sounds alot smoother now, the timing was way off.) http://risr.org/files/Motor.caf didnt have a down pipe in this clip and still needs a tune. im gonna mess with it more tommorrow now that the wideband is installed. Oh btw has anyone else had issues with the circut sports overflow tank not lining up with bolt holes? Also the nipple on the bottom interferes with the engine bay idk how im supposed to get a hose over the thing with it resting on metal.

Nice setup.
Yes I just installed a circuit sports res on a s13. Didnt fit, and had to make new holes, and use rubber spacers on the lower hole. And yes the nipple hits the wheel well.
Great quality product. Just doesn't fit. lol

Well it cost a lot to build and i had a little lol. really though i collected parts piece by piece for some time then once i had them all i wasnt very motivated to do the build. the s13 i had was in rough shape needed some engine bay rust repairs and some new paint i didnt have the equip. for either of those things but then i found a guy who was nice enough to let me use his garage and he had everything i needed to get it done.
mods:
bc springs retainers

cp pistons
eagle rods
micro polish crank, balance rotating assembly
arp main studs arp head studs
cometic mls gasket (heard they are leaky if you dont have practically a mirror finish, praying it wont leak on me)
greddy oil pan

synapse top mount vband manifold
gt3076r
tial 44mm wastegate
im probably missing few things plus random electronics power fc, etc.

i brought it to dent sport garage for tuning today. however it was only at like 90% completion and needed to be 100% for tuning haha. anyways i did the rest of the work in the parking lot. i wasnt able to stick around for tuning cause i had work but as far as i know they ran it at 8psi and it made 260whp and then they didnt get to do anymore tuning. I guess there may be some issues with the head gasket not sealing properly and causing the cooling system to over pressurize. damn cometic gaskets! now idk whats gonna happen but hopefully it wont be anythign to exspensive and i can be on my way to 400+ hp soon.
