I have spent the last 5 hours in two seperate junkyards in my area picking out TONS of stuff.....now all i need to do is find out what hubs can be used on what??....i have helped a friend do a 5 lug swap on his s14 so i know the procedure....but i was able to get a hold of many many sets of hubs from the z32 and the Q45....now what i need to do is figure which one can be used on the s13/s14.......like if the z32 will fit on the front of the 240SX and if i can use the Q45 ones.........great thanks to all who reply....

Dousan, are you going 5-lug any time soon?
If you're not doing a brake upgrade, don't S14 hubs also work on the S13? You'd have to change/modify one of the ball joints or something, though... or something like that.

if you are going to put 5 lug fronts on a S13 you have 2 options. the eaisest one for us here is to use a S14 knuckle with the hub and then install a S14 ball joint in the S13 control arm. The only drawback to this setup is the fact that the bolts for the S14 knuckle are slightly wider than the bolts for the S13 knuckle . Which means you must widen slightly the holes on your strut that the knuckle bolts go through.
Now supposedly(according to Mav1178) in Japan you can get a spacer for the S13 spindle(s13 spindle is narrower than S14 spindle). Thus allowing you to put on a S14 5 lug hub without the S14 spindle and knuckle. This eliminates having to change your ball joint etc. To bad I have not seen this item offered here yet by anyone and have heard its quite pricey. :p

The only thing from a Q45 that will fit are the front brakes. Those are only marginaly better than stock. Remember they came off my 180sx clip you saw em in my back yard.
Other than that everything else besides the maf and ignitor chip is pretty useless.

you mentioned you knew the procedure to swap 4 to 5 lug. on the S14, i understand that z32 rears can be simply bolted on. but the front is a different story. can the z32's or r32 Skyline hubs be adapted in any fashion for the front? moreover, what is the 'procedure' for a 5 lug swap? i'm new, so don't flame me too much.

ok if your putting SE 5 lug hubs on a base model S14 all you need is the hubs all the way around. As far as Z brakes go Z32 brakes bolt on in the front and the rear the problem is you have to extend your hand brake cable for the z brakes. you also have to remove the S14 backing plate.
As far as R32 skyline hubs go why bother? S14 SE 5 lug hub fronts and either S14 5 lug hub rear or Z32 rear 5 lug hub will work and be cheaper. Same goes for trying to use R32 brakes they will cost you an arm and a leg here in the states . your better off just upgrading to Z32 brakes.

Better getting spindles as it saves you from having to use two jackstands and an axe to seperate the hub from the spindle:D

if you have a 4 lug S14
can you replace your 4 lug hubs with 4 lug s13 hubs?
bolt in job?? any extra parts needed?

Rear hubs are compatible from S14 to S13, so they should bolt on. Front hubs would not work since the S14 spindle is a larger bore. I can't figure why you'd want to do that though...

im not doing it but its a VERY GOOD QUESTION for people who might have bad s14 4 lug hubs (bearings might go etc) and cant afford a upgrade at the moment
open mind please.

ok I was just wondering because that sounded like an odd idea... :)
The rear hubs seem to pretty much be the same part for both chassis. Fronts would have to come from another S14 though.
