I'm just posting this for a friend. He wants to get back into the 240sx game but can't afford to go one day without a reliable car so he decided to put his current daily driver up for trade. Here's his ad:
Before I start spending money on a few basic mods on the SVX, I want to see if I can trade it off for a 240sx or Impreza coupe. Manual, 5spd, base model preferable, but not necessary.
The SVX has 144,xxx miles on it. I just did a tune up/oil change roughly a month ago. I only use AMSoil, so you'll be good for a while with what's in it now. The car is pretty nice all around, and just requires minimal work to be brought back to a near showroom stock. For those that don't know, the SVX is a flat 6 AWD car.
The wheels have to be balanced, as it shakes a bit once you start creeping above 65mph on the highway.

The climate control buttons have become sensitive. You can fix it, but in all honesty the easiest way is to just get a replacement. The a/c is frigid cold and the heat is scorching hot, that's not a problem. Say you hit a pothole or something. There's a chance it'll switch from vents to defrost, so you'd have to press the button for vents again. Nothing major, but it does get annoying on long trips. Part isn't very costly, I've seen a few go for $60.
That's it as far as problems are concerned. The cars I'm looking for can't be rusted out, and I'd prefer stock if possible. I'm willing to work with a trade+cash if needed, but not the other way around (I'm broke =( )
