okay, i have a friend that has a 1990 Integra LS, and it needs a New waterpump, Head Gasket, and could Probably use its timing replaced, so my question is, where could i go to Look it up on the net to see what is involved, ( have not worked on this Model integra Before )

I know its not a 240SX question, but i cant think of anywhere else to ask where i will actually get some Good feedback.

you might try HondaHookup (I visited there once--and it was tonight to see if there was an Integra section--and there is). Here's the link:

They'll probably be able to help you a lot more than us at Zilvia. I don't know of anybody here that knows a lot about Acuras.

Good luck! I wish I could help you more!!

honda-tech (http://www.honda-tech.com) Absolutely everything you need to know about honda's.

I just did this to my wifes 90 ls a few days ago. Let me suggest 2 things if doing yourself. If you don't have airtools where you are completing the repairs, go to a shop and have the bolt on the main pulley knocked loose then snug it up and drive to where your gonna tear it down. You'll never get it off by hand.

Second the 14mm bolt on the timing belt tensioner. Use a quality socket like snap-on (I had to use 1/2 drive with breaker bar). It's tight as hell and a cheap socket will strip it and then you're really screwed. Also make sure the socket is straight on when your wrenching on it. It will want to strip because it's so tight and because the bolt head is so short.

Lastly (this is only my preference) I like to take the Intake manifold and head off as one unit when doing a head gasket.
But only if I have another person to help lift it off and on. To me it's just easier, to others they unbolt the intake mani and leave in engine compartment.

:D cheers

this job sucks. just pay $350 to have a local Honda shop do it for you. they will get the water pump while they're at it.
