S14 (zenki 2 kouki conversion)

In the process of doing this but i have a small question ....do the 95-96 zenki headlight sockets work on the kouki headlights or will i have 2 change out the harness same as for the turn signals and runnning lights ...will all these lights just (plug in) or will i have to change somthing .. Any help would b greatly app.. Thanks

as for the headlights how did you bolt them up?
did you use the little notch from zenki support and drill new holes or what?

i do not have kouki hood yet so idk who they are supposed to line up :/

did you look at them to see any similairaties? I dont know personally if you can interchange them because im an S13 guy but if i had to guess i would venture to say you could.

the holes are off set, but the tabs seem to line up right.

they will sit lower usually u cut that tab off anduse a smaller bolt and nut to have more play in the hole and bolt the headlight higher on the bracket.. usually as for the headlights the low beam connects just fine but the h1 needs wiring or u can go hid for the projector and not worry about like i did.. the turn signals use two bulbs each so youll need to wire in a new + - if yur going jdm front like me .. if not then yur fine with the zenki ones

u should buy the headlight brackets from mynismo.com they have the entire conversion for cheap but u just weld or drill holes and bolt them on

I went from USDM zenki to JDM Kouki.. I had to rewire the headlights (because the bulbs are completely different)... but I plugged everything else in normally...

The corners are different when you go from zenki to kouki. The old bulbs don't fit into the kouki corner lights. The bumper indicators white front ones and orange side ones are the same.

No they're not. Only the headlight lowbeam plug is different.

im doing the same thing i have a usdm zenki and got jdm kouki headlights...i dont think none of the lights are the same. is there a harness we can buy for this or anything?

well heres where i am at ..the headlights are hardwired, i took the socket out of my usdm bumper zenki (side running light small amber one) it looks like i can get it too fit with small mod..i think im gonna try too find another side light so i can use the socket 4 the turn signal hole ..they seem too b the same ..just when i got the d-max turnsignals i have gotten 1 set of small bulbs and 1 set of slighty larger bulbs

the bumper stay on the kouki is completely different than the zenki support. I bought a zenki bumper support for 75 bucks off of someone to use on my kouki conversion since i've read that a little trimming will make it work. Let me clear up the rumors.

The bumper stay will NOT work with the fenders, or headlights for Kouki you need to get the Kouki support. And you need to get the left and right stays.

If you're not going to run the Kouki Radiator support (because it is slightly different) then you will need to extend the headlight wireing just a tad. I didn't do the wiring conversion on my car so I dunno by how much. I know I need to fix the shitty wiring job they did though. (previous owner.)

Here is the Kouki bumper support stays and bumper stay bolted to the zenki bumper support.

I still need to fabricate some brackets to bolt up to the rear of the bumper stays, most likely to keep it in place from side impact i'm sure. Otherwise it's just 4 10mm bolts holding it on...

A lot sturdier than zip ties that's for damned sure. You can check my build thread for anything else you'd like to see yada ya.
