transmission questions

im pretty sure my transmission just broke yesterday. i cant shift into a gear while the cars not moving unless the car is off, i cant shift past 2nd gear, my clutch peddle is extremely easy to press down and when im in gear but holding down the clutch the car is still semi in gear and starts rolling forward or stalls.

it didnt just suddenly happen but i thought i could wait a bit longer to fix it. anyone know anything about this problem? what transmission parts do i have to replace?

honestly it doesnt sound like a bad transmission, you may have a bum clutch slave cylinder or clutch master cylinder. check around those areas and see if you have and leaking fluids. also check and see if there are any fluids in the brake master cylinder reservoir.

check those first and then respond with more info.

ok thanks, ill go check in a minute. its probably the ghey ebay short shifters fault, its been on there since before ive had the car.
