Alright i got everything hooked up. Test drove it after the installatioin. I'm not quite immpressed. It doesn't pull that hard, not sure if it's like that. I haven't rev over 4,000 rpm though. I have only the safc for tuning. I know i need to dyno tune it. My cruising a/f is high 15 and WOT is in the low 11's. I've played with the SAFC alittle. What does the a/f @ idles supposed to be at? On my wideband it just show three dash lines. BTW my setup is:

t28 internal w/g
retard base timing to about 16 degree
sr 370cc
Sr smic
NGK7E plugs
stock maf
Aem Wideband
slight downpipe leak

Sorry..this is on a healthy 1996 ka24de motor. What should i tune the a/f to if i was going to street tune it for now?? idle, partial thorttle, and WOT?? Thanks

Your cruising and wot A/Fs sound pretty darn good.....

What have you ridden in to compare it to?

When is it reaching full boost? 2500-2800rpms? (not in 1st or 2nd, try it in third.)

Is it on stock wastedgate pessure? 7lbs or whatever?

I dont wanna blow you up, but MAYBE add a couple degrees of timing back in...

You say you have a DP leak. Are you 110% sure that is where all the leak is, or could there be ANY possibility of a leak before the turbo that is masked by the other leak?

IDK, its late.

Get a FMIC, Your heat soaking the SMIC. You'll notice a huge difference in Pull.

I ran my SMIC for a while on my T-28 (SR) Night and day difference with a FMIC

Three dashes on the wideband at idle sounds bad. You should idle right around 14.6 on stock cams.

The thing isn't going to feel crazy at 4k RPM, so I'm not sure what you're expecting.

isnt that the case with any SMIC to FMIC?

Thanks for all the replies guys!! Yeah i know that the smic is quite small but it's just for now until i get a fmic. And yes i'm sure i have a downpipe leak because i was the one who welded. My welding skill is bad. I need more practices. Anyways what should i do about the a/f @ idle. It's showing three dash line, which i thinking it's probably reading very lean, above 16. Should i play with the LO thorttle setting @ 1,000 rpm. Richen it up alittle??? It's at -20 now. BTW i'm running the stock w/g, so it's probably @ 7 psi max. One last question what do you guys reccomend for base timing. It's @ 16 now. Thanks.
