Sorta just polling the audience here but who's making their own manifolds these days? What I mean is how often is the general Nissan community building custom SR/KA/CA/RB manifolds from purchased manifold flanges and collectors? If there are enough of you it might justify supplying the flanges and collectors at a decent price.
They would be flow cut out of 3/8" CR Plate and be to factory spec.

Any comments?

rarely anyone has the materials available to them nor the skill or R&D information capable of building one worth a shit.
The ones that have built their own mostly are few and far between and have no reason to build anymore than that. People either buy Greddy, or Freddy for SR's and Xcessive is the only known aftermarket intake manifold for the K series so hopefully that gives you some insight.
I'd search to see some threads on the matter and maybe contact the fabricators directly, or better yet post this in the "fabrication thread" stickied in the tech forum.

I have been thinking about making a series of long runner sr and ka manifolds.
Should I do it?

no, not worth it.

There are already some companies out that make head flanges. Like stated above, chances are the people out there who are capable of making a decent manifold will have the resources to make a flange as well. straight line specialties make some super nice head flanges for KA/SR applications. And they are well priced.

I am sure it would be AMAZING Luke but as previously stated most 240sx owners on here are too cheap. It would just be a waste of your time. Besides, you got cooler projects to work on.

yeah I agree with what said above, there isn't a whole lot of need for parts like these. Especially when you can pick up an finished manifold for around 100 bucks....
I'll find something....

so do you have access to a CNC machine? Or laser/plasma cutting?

yep and much more....
I'm actually looking for contract freelance work from design to construction on basically any sort of mechanical needs. I can produce/provide production prints, 3D rendering's, connections with whole sale raw material suppliers, 3 axis CNC work, liquid flow cut, laser cutting, welding, sheet metal fabrication, etc... I've got about 4 years of new product development experience and am looking to extend my skills into this development end of the automotive industry. I very familiar with the in's and out's of the SR20/KA(t) as well as the S chassis. So my thoughts are that I can bring some of my industrial experience/resources + Nissan knowledge to the table.
