I have a 1995 s14 with what appears to be a starfire blue pearl, this paint seems to only be on the 9798. I will post pic soon.. its kinda like a yogert purple blue color with alot of metallics... how rare is this color,,, production numbers anyone. I have searched and come up with a little info but inorder to get collector status plates in my state It has to have a unique production item... less than 500 made.... do you think this color is rare enough for that?
I have seen like three online like mine

Starfire Blue Pearl - BN6 is the 97/98 color

Mediterranean Blue - BP3 is the 96 only color

Blue Emerald - FN2 is the 95/96 color

There were 25k 95's produced... You may be out of luck... weird if your car really is a 95 with BP3 or BN6.

check the engine bay for the color code (it's stamped on the firewall on the passenger side) and then post it here.

LN1, Concord Gray, was the only 'unique' color in 1995. It's also the only color used solely for the S14 chassis. It was replaced in 1996 with BP3, Mediterranean Blue, but that color was also used on the Pathfinder and J30 so it's not as rare. I've owned both.

People always called it purple when I had mine, though it's more of a gray hue. It really is a rare color though I don't know numbers on it. I wish I still had mine but it was stolen and pushed off a cliff in 1997, forcing me to replace it with the BP3 car.

There's one FS here locally in the Chicago area. I'd love to be able to pick it up.

Ixell Colorweb - (http://colorweb.ixell.com/colorbook/)

you can download the Nissan color codes for all the Nissan cars from 1995 till 2007 (at least most of them will be listed there).

Aw Russ, the good ol days. I remember when I first meet you @ Mall of Georgia Nissan with your "NA light weight BP3" car. I've effectively reproduced that car, sorta...

Dude, this is one forum of a several dozen devoted to the 240SX, and that only refers to people enthusiastic enough to register and post. There was probably a couple thousand made in 1995 that color, don't expect to find them all on here or anywhere else online. A ton of people just drive their cars without caring about them and even more drive them but don't care to surf forums and listen to 12yr olds bicker about who's dad's Camaro is faster. I'd say you *may* find 20-30 owners if you really pushed it, that's counting anyone who cared enough to open this thread in the first place.

When I had my 95 LN1 SE the very last possible thing I cared about was how many other people had one too. I still don't care now with a red one.

So thats the color! I made a post about this a long time ago somewhere and no one knew what I was talking about. That shit looks crazy when the light hits it right.
