So ive been fiddling with the CTS sensor trying to replace it. But I cant get the harness connector off. The red connector tab broke off. Anybody have a trick to unplugging the CTS?

Is the clip out of it yet? Same type of plug as the SR MAF, pry the clip out and pull it straight off.

Like what projecRDM said, you should pry that bloody clip off first, then use a deep socket i think its a 17mm. You will have some minor coolant leak out make sure don't let it drip out too much (shove ya finger in there for a bit). Should take you no less than 10 min. Good Luck
Steve.

there is a wire clip that hold it in. And if you broke the plug, I have an extra one if you need it. Email me at
[email protected] or PM me.

clip as in metal wire around the connector?
I cant get the clip off. But if you mean prying the metal wire off I can do that.
I didnt think that was supposed to come off. but the tab on the red connector broke off, so I cant press it down and pull the harness connector straight off.

once that metal clip comes out you should be able to pull it straight off. There is no tab to push in. Unless you are talking about the black smaller plug next to it for the CTS that goes to the cluster.
