Overall quality up

I don't know if anybody else has noticed this lately, but it seem the overall quality of posts has really gone up lately.

Don't know what would have caused it, unless properly working forum software scared lamers away...that seems unlikely.

Anyway, just an observation.

Edit: I should have said "most" of the lamers, as there are still a lot of them out there. Basically I was saying the signal to noise ratio is much better than I remember it being in the past.

Ya I noticed this too, everyone was afraid zilvia was dying, but like most said, it would get better with time, as it did.

I have to say that a lot of the bashin etc has gone down. THe maturity lvl went up (but I will always be around to bring it down). :D

tofu aside, it has been a bit better recently. ;) Happy holidays? I hadn't thought about it, but now that you mention it, it seems a little better and some of the more vicious members are even being polite... Look at that MX6 guy post. That was an excercise in restraint!

My only present beef is the quasi-porn. There are two posts here that would not lead me to believe there were pics that I wouldn't feel comfortable having someone walk into my office and see. Not cool.

Do we have a rule on quasi porn (or real porn)? I'd hate to invent the ClubSi-style "WARNING" tags, but w/o it, I won't be on off-topic much.

guess I haven't been reading my internet porn weekly, but what in the heck is quasi-porn, and where do you see that.

I haven't seen anything not work appropriate on here yet, except that one sig pic of someones, that is a bit on the odd side, and the post on real or fake tits, but if you click that and your surprised at what you see thats your problem.

quasi-porn meaning... stuff like the 'I love soccer!" thread. No, there's nothing showing, but it is a bunch of attractive women... It's just not something you want to get caught looking at by more conservative people, or heaven help you, a militant feminist!

O well I hate soccer, so I never opened that thread to begin with. So if you were like me and hated soccer you would have never seen it :D .
