Ok so i have a 92 240 coupe with an sr with a s15 t28 and supporting mods. i have not dynoed it yet but i assume it is around 300hp/300trq. just in this summer alone i have broken a set of axles and two transmissions ( it actually snaps 6-8 inches of the tail shaft off). i am not dropping the clutch i am slipping it as best as possible with an act solid race xtreme 6 pad clutch. i am so sick of this thing breaking dont know what to do i have only been able to get a 12.8 out of it and i know ot has so much more in it. i had a weled diff but took it out after the axles as i thought that was the problem. any ideas as to why its breaking or what i should do next?

Get a mazworkx z32 transmission. Upgrade your rear axles to chromoly from driveshaft shop. Upgrade your 2 piece driveshaft to a single steel or if you gots money maybe a chromoly shaft as well...
O BTW, welded sucks crap on dragging.... Go with a strong two way like a Carbonetic or something

actually a 1 pc. driveshaft wil make things break faster.
Ive broken my fair share of SR transmissions and this is my recent setup that i have not broken yet!....
Z32 Trans
EXedy Carbon Twin clutch
Driveshaft Shop Stage 2 Axles
...i can say from experience that this is a solid setup. Even if you dont get a carbon clutch, an EXedy hyper single will work well too, especially for the power youre gonna make.

You need a clutch disc with a sprung hub, for one...
You need to reduce driveline shock, and there is NO REASON to not have a sprung hub on pretty much any clutch disc, IMO.
