So i was watching fox news earlier and saw that some officials in California are demanding that Hybrid cars make more noise....just struck me as incredibly ironic lol. There reasoning is that deaf people can't hear hybrids...but with that their logic about banning too loud of cars goes out the window....lol anybody find this slightly ironic/funny?

actually having a loud car can save your life in a since, if someone is not paying attention or doesn't see you coming they will here you coming. this is another reason why alot of choppers have blast pipes. so they are heard encase they were not seen.

Also, if you are driving any car... Try not to hit any pedestrians. Blind or not.

Besdes the ninja'ness of hybrids in electric mode is badass. My dad has a Camry hybrid and has literally creeped up behind me in that thing and touched my leg (he was fucking with me) before I knew it was there. Crazy shit.

Isn't the point of a prius to save gas?? Im pretty sure if your going 80+ on the freeway your not saving that much gas. Even in a prius.

I just think that the Decible law is dumb. I mean:

1. Leaf Blowers are loud as heck
2. Motocycles, Ie, Choppers and Harley Davidsons..are loud as heck

I think that it's all a prejudice issue here.

1. Leaf blowers get the city clean
2. CA bike cops idolize Rebel Harley Davidson bikers and want to be like them.
