nope i run a tarus fan. High speed. Just watch out tho it will drain your battery quick. But other than that no problems.

Cool. Are you guys running gauges too?

i ran a voltage gauge for a while (before it fried, long story, nothing to do with efans) and when idling it would read like 11.8 volts...
in addition i had a boost, oil pres, and air intake

laughing at boosted coupe saying you don't need an upgraded alternator but saying his battery drains quick in the same sentence.
then ewok saying his voltage is at 11.8 volts.
when idling your voltage should be no ~13-13.5....lol @ 11.8 volts
if you are running the e-fans constantly (which is retarded imo), then yeah, you'd probably wanna get a higher amperage alty, but other than that, i've reviwed alot of other's e-fan setups and noone ever mentions upgraded alternator. just get a temp controller or something.

^actually i ran my taurus e-fan continuously during the summer. and only when stopped or got hot during winter. never had a problem, no voltage gauge or upgraded alternator. i did, however, have a brand new alternator at time of e-fan install. ran for like 9-10 months no problems.

No alternator upgrade. The gauge I would severely recommend is an aftermarket water temp. As far as voltage gauge, it may not be completely necessary......depending on your setup.

It does not drain the battery while the car is cranked. I was saying if you leave the fan running while the car is not running it will drain the battery. Nice try at trying to make me look like a dumb ass tho.

i dunno...every time my altima fans kick in the rpms drop quite a bit, and the car hesitates.
