Ok, some people asked me about the KA intake manifold that i was selling around christmas, but they didn't have money. Anyways, i still have it, so whoever wants it can pick it up for $150 shipped. It's practically complete, all you have to do is weld together the sides (they are tach-welded right now) and weld on a throttle body (prefferably a bigger one from the q45).

Here are the pics:

Also all the same stuff is for sale as in this auction except for the AEM bypass, the muffler and the nismo gas cap: http://www.zilvia.net/f/showthread.php?s=&threadid=19962

did you just make the manifold yourself? Im interested in it but I too would like more info.

I bought the manifold some time ago when i was planning to make my car a monster. As of right now i changed my plans and 240 is just going to be a daily driver, so i don't really need this anymore.

Why is it better than the stock mani:
If you look, the stock intake manifold runners from the head to the plenum are really long. This results in increase in torque at the expense of hp. Quoting wherezmytofu:

shorter runners -> low/mid range hp = better response
longer runners -> more hp at higher rpms
bigger plenum -> more air volume that is in the intake = more hp = better response

The manifold was made by Thunder Fabrications. They took the upper part of the manifold, cut it in 2 and welded a steel box onto it, reducing hte runner length to 1/4. Now, the box is tack welded together. This is easy to finish since it only requires mig welding and you can get it done at any meineke or other exhaust shop.

Other than that, you need a throttle body to be welded on the front and you are ready to go.

As for fitment issues, it did "kinda" fit when i was testing it. The reason it was "kinda" is because i had my head of and tried putting it in with the lower part of the intake manifold in place. But from what i've seen it should clear the hood and even the strut bar. In the end you can play around with the plenum size if you don't like it since it's just sheet metal. The hard part - intake to sheet metal weld is done already, and was done very nicely.
