i'm sure most of you have read or seen my flaunting of my brother's latest website JDMorigins (http://www.jdmorigins.com/).com, Now, I am not going to force you, but i ENCOURAGE you to visit the site, and stay updated. i'm sure there are many of you who are jdm-tyte old school fans, (ae86, 2000GT, rx7, starion, 200sx s12, old'skoo' supras and celicas, etc.)

my brother is running around like a bee trying to get shit up on this site.

he is also considering doing a "reader's rides" section (thats for you die-hard old school fans!)

so GIVE YOUR INPUT, and if its good enough IT WILL BE SEEN!

he recently just went to "toyotafest" in Los Angeles(?) i think.

lots and lots and lots of pictures!

FROM THE WORDS OF MY BROTHER:
I came back from Long Beach and L.A. last week from the All Toyotafest 2009. It was my first time out there and man do I envy their weather and cars! For the rest of you who didn't get out there, we did write an article on All Toyotafest 2009' (http://www.jdmorigins.com/2009/05/totally-toyotas-all-toyotafest-2009/) at jdmorigins.com (http://www.jdmorigins.com/). It should be a good quick read and there's plenty of pictures for those who missed it.

Also, for the drifting-loving-sob's, there were so many clean AE86's it was insane. there were literally MORE ae86's in the parking lot than on the grass! http://www.d-town.us/forum/images/smiles/icon_eek.gif

i duno bout the text either,

but the site is just a teaser, not the actual layout,

its an unfinished project in the works. he has to start doing articles.

for it to be good, its gonna have to rival Speedhunters (http://speedhunters.com/), and taht side is pretty dam good right now

A good friend of mine is a designer, so I happen to know what it is... It is not a real language of any sort, it is actually called "Greeking," (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greeking) and it's purpose to have SOME text where text will be while you work on your layout, so you can see how things will look when completed.

Yeah, Adobe Dreamweaver and Publisher use it. Funny to do lay outs with out the fill and have someone read it.

But, why would you publish a page with it? Is he going to be writing the articles? if not why bother till you have some real content not fluff?

shh. i'm not even supposed to tell you this yet, but he's using wordpress because he has this blog thing with his gf, so he just slapped some random stuff up to see how it'd be/look like.
