Hey guys, my car's (http://zilvia.net/f/#) throwing the CEL and it can't pass smog unless i turn it off. The code its giving me is 82, crankshaft position sensor, located on top of the bellhousing of the transmission i believe.
I've searched around and thought I can maybe put a resistor on the harness end to turn the CEL off, do i use 100k resistor for this? has anyone tried to do this on their crankshaft position sensor? I don't really have time to look around for another sensor and radioshack's just a mile away so please help.

I have the same problem. I am gonna take a shot at it tomorrow. I'm going to use a resistor to try and fool the ecu. Wish me luck.

Sorry to bump a super old thread, but did you have any luck with this?
Thanks.
