im looking to get a new exhaust manifold and not brake the bank..so i found this manifold and i was wondering if anyone has heard anything about it. Is it any good?

If it means anything, I got the Ichiba dump for free from a buddy and it has beefy welds and it's made of thick metal.

Looks like a Tomei knockoff. Basically the same quality as ebay/Megan stuff IMO. Not saying that isn't a reasonable idea for something like an exhaust manifold, because all tubular manifolds will eventually crack, and I haven't seen a big difference in the amount of Tomei's cracking vs Megan's, etc.

If you like it, pick it up.

I have a tubular SR exhaust manifold thats pretty nice and brand new comes tapped for EGT already and I have a Pro Sports EGT gauge to go with it $250 plus shipping. Can't beat them Apples.

i thought equal length was good?

equal length is good for something just like this manifold is good for something. This manifold will give better bottom end...and equal length is better for mid/top end power

Personally, I'd prefer more low down grunt...but I don't know that I'd buy this rather than the tomei one, but thats just my take on knock off stuff.

The obvious choice would be the tomei expreme mani but like i said im not looking to break the bank, the tomei mani is over 2 times more than this manifold.

eh...it's not that bad. I've seen the real Tomei go some places for about 4 bills...I would trust their quality anyday. That being said, I've never heard anything bad about Ichiba stuff. I don't know I guess I'm just jaded because a friend of mine has a Megan manifold that has cracked about 8 times.

BTW I have a 2871r and I just kept the stock manifold, just extrude/honed. I don't think you'd see much difference between something like this manifold and mine power wise. But there IS the bling factor. which is nice.

as with all things, you get what you pay for. If you get it, I would suggest getting ready to buy another manifold relatively soon....

Also don't they make 5 lug hub swaps? I guess if people buy those and I haven't heard any complaints they must do okay.

You could buy my used Espelir manifold for way less than that.... ;)

Then find a new hobby. Making your car janky by buying shitty, poor quality parts just proves you don't care about it enough to do things right.

I think the quality of the manifold would be a poor reason to buy a tomei over the ichiba one. I say this because my friend's tomei one cracked the other day and it is fairly new.

The reason you shouldn't buy knock off parts is because you're slowly helping China take over the rest of the world when you DO buy knock off parts.

No, I'm 34 years old. I pay for all my own shit and have done so for nearly 20 years. It's called work ethic, something you little trolls know absolutely nothing about. But I do appreciate the weak attempt at trying to come back at me, I smiled a little knowing you're squirming in your chair right now knowing I'm right and you really are saving that McDonalds paycheck you get weekly just to buy a knockoff blowoff valve for a car that's probably riding on cut springs, stock blown bushings, leaking calipers, and a rattle can primer paintjob with more dents than a hailstorm could provide. But hey, it's the cool car to own, so you're hardcore for having one. I bet all your high school buddies jack you off under the table at lunch.

this doesn't qualify as disrespect? Where are you from...

I'm not rich either dude. I havent bought a new part in 3 months because I haven't had any money. I just graduated college, so I know where my priorities need to be. But that doesn't mean I don't save up to buy nice stuff. Spend the money right...you do it once. Buy cheap shit, look forward to swapping out your manifold in a couple weeks/months.

Just cause everything doesnt say tomei, greddy etc doesnt mean its garbage. I hadnt heard anything about ichiba and thats all i wanted to know
