Has anyone had any experience with the Momo Drifting seats? I know they're FIA approved which gives me some confidence, but do they really offer any true advantage for a drifter or are they just more of a gimmick?

Here's a link for those who haven't seen them:
MOMO Italy / Usa Official Website – drifting (http://www.momo.com/usa/products.php?id_cat=3&id_subcat=20&id_sub_racing=16&id_product=183&l=en)

My friend and i had this awesome idea in school where you put the seat and pedals and wheel on a swivel for drifting so you can face where the car is goin lol.

We're retarded.

That seat looks terrible.

I have no idea what makes it tuned for drifting.

funny thing is on that website it says:

MOMO suggests to you... and to the right there's a button... "BUY NOW"

obviously they would suggest you to buy it now.

I have an OMP seat and wheel (came with a previous car).... I don't see much similarities with MOMO, I've sold all the momo wheels I've come into contact with. Yucky.

I like the OMP wheel alot though. Its a 330mm deep dish one.

That seat is so ugly. Not to be mean or anything, but why the hell consider that?
Be awesome and go Bride. Hell, even Sparco would be better.

Momo CUP-GT seats are by far one of my favorite seats I've ever sat in. They're affordable, FIA approved and fit me (33" waste 42" shoulders) perfectly. My friend has them in his Spec E30 and he is like 5'9" and 118lbs and they hold him good as well.

That drifting seat...not so much. It looks like it was made for fat people and says drift in kanji, not so much my cup of tea.

I love how it's "made" for drifting but it looks like nothing more than their t-club seat gayed up with some stupid words and stripes. Way to insult the intelligence of your customers Momo.

Their bucket seats are actually not that bad either.
