View Full Version : Front Caliper pin boot going bad?

Well after changing my front brakes, I took the two small caliper pins out and lubed them but the whole boot plus piston came off completely. Now I cant make it to stay seated properly with my pins inside of the caliper . I can firmly pull it out of the boot. I know this can cause it to rust and shit to get inside of it.
I went to the dealer today and they dont even sell them individually.
What do you guys think?

You have to buy the Lock-pin in order to get the rubber boot if they dotn sell it separaty which they dont because I looked it up on NISSAN FAST.

Its the two quater size piston that helps to pull back the brake pads. that has dust boots around them

You shoudl be able to order those from autozone separatly.

This is one from a Q45 calipers which I had left over from a Q45 caliper rebuild, I bought this from autozone since it wasn;t available alone from the dealer:

yes its that pin, but i just need the small dust boot that covers it. Know where I can find 4? I check autozone dont carry unless that sales guy was too noob to search it up for me.
