o2 sensor and knock sensor question??1 help!!

he guys
i have a mines boost up ecu on my car an i dont have knock sensor and no o2 sensor.
do i need these to run good?
can i run wth out them?
pros?
cons?

yes...need both!

ecu uses signals from both to adjust timing/fuel

i have a messed up knock sensor and it makes the ecu pull timing because it thinks there's a problem. so the ecu plays it safe and you end up with no power. as for o2....i think that would just cause a/f problems. probably end up running really rich and once again will cut back power

I believe those flags are off on the mines boostup. IDK.
No, you don't... but if your car start's running rough, you should be under the hood immediately. You may not be able to go into the knock map. You can change the flags back. Buying a knock sensor or new 02 sensor, won't matter if the flags are turned off.

Dump the bin look up feedback control 0038, bits 4 and 5

Lacking an O2 sensor won't cause your car to run rough, you just might lose a little bit of fuel mileage.
