Ive been running an N1 Single for a while, and Im looking at replacing the muffler with something else. The Mufflers tapped the ground more than a few times, and is now flat/leaking out the bottom. I'd like to hear opinions, sound clips, or thoughts on looks. My current list of mufflers Ive been looking at are....
Magnaflow 14221 (3" inlet/ dual 2.5" outlet)

Vibrant 1111 (3" inlet/ dual 2.5" outlet)

Moroso 94055 (3" inlet/ single 3" outlet)

*I'm kinda sceptical of this last one, but wanted to hear opinions.
OBX MG01 Twin Loop (3" inlet/ single 3" outlet)

no, not all of them have audio/video, (in fact most don't) but there are several vids in the thread... you just have to browse.

Agreed. Just looked at the thread and found about 5-7 videos on the 1st page.

Ive run through youtube already, and same with the post your muffs thread. I'd rather here clips from similar setups to me. I currently run a 4-2-1 header, catco 3" cat, and 3" Vibrant Ultra Quiet Resonator which = raspy/loud currently. Majority of what Ive found are KA-T, SR, or KA with stock manifold which drastically change the tone. I have yet to hear anything other than Honda, or Miata with the twin loop muffler.

I'm also looking for opinions specifically on the difference in tone for the oval dual tip vs. the round single inlet/outlet. If anyone has opinions on the lasting ability of different brands as metal thickness, and seams. I've also wanted to know how much turn downs help with reducing overall noise.

Bump....
Any opinions on which of these listed would cut down noise the most? I'm looking to buy tonight, but Id like to hear a few opinions first. Currently Im looking at the Vibrant dual tip the most, but Im not sure if its gonna be any quieter.

I want you to get the OBX, simply because I want to know what that weird motherfucker sounds like.

That obx one is a Mugen knock off for Honda's.
Use the Moroso one as a resonator in the mid pipe and the magnaflow as the muffler.

I'm thinking the OBX would def. quiet things down the most since it acts as 2 inline mufflers, but seems like the tight bends would kill velocity. Even with the claims of moroso I can't imagine that it would be that much better than my previous 18" magnaflow resonator. I'm now trying to decide strictly between the magnaflow, and vibrant. They both seem to be straight through, and would offer similar noise reduction. My question is now has anyone done a comparison of packing material, metal thickness, and perforated/scooped holes between vibrant and magnaflow products? I know my magnaflow resonator was nearly junk compared to the vibrant resonator just going by how solid it felt. My hangers literally broke off the current muffler leaving 2 open quarter holes due to thin material so that's why its even an issue.
