S13 Diff/Axle Question

I'm replacing the rear subframe on my '90 hatch, and I am at the point of removal where I need to either remove the axles and drop the diff, or drop the whole strut/axle assembly.

My question is when I remove the axles, will that drain the gear oil in the diff housing? Or will they come off no problem.

they will come off no problem. just take out the axle and then take off the diff after you take out the subframe. make sure to unbolt 4 bolts to the driveshaft

I have the driveshaft out, but will the axles drain the gear oil from the diff?

no. it wont. just take off the 6 axles bolts
